Pascarella is an instructional specialist at Walter J. Mitchell Elementary School. She was honored for helping organize staff development activities, for facilitating book studies and instructional team planning, and for coordinating testing and extended-day programs. Pascarella has served as a Summer Academy coordinator and works with Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) intervention groups at Mitchell. She was also recognized for showing initiative to help improve school climate for staff and students. Mitchell Principal Linda Gill said Pascarella is an asset to the school. "
